Kinnance

Kinnance is a personal finance app for Android and iOS, still in development. Its name joins 金 (money, in Japanese) and finance.

Goal. To make it easy to see where your money goes and to give saving a plan: note income and expenses in seconds, see them by month and by category, and get concrete advice from your own numbers.

What it does.

• Movements: income, expenses and readjustments, recurring ones too, with categories and payment methods.
• Several currencies with their exchange rates, a monthly summary and the balance.
• Calendar with what was spent or earned each day.
• Savings goals.
• Coach: suggests a savings method, such as 50/30/20 or envelopes, and scores the health of your finances. For premium users, Claude reads the month's totals by category, split into fixed and discretionary, and returns two to four recommendations, never suggesting cuts to fixed costs.
• Privacy: a switch that blurs the amounts, in case you look at the app in public.

Architecture and quality. An API in Fastify with Prisma and PostgreSQL, in 13 modules with domain, data, application and presentation layers, 14 models, 15 migrations and 66 test files that run on GitHub Actions on every change. The app is built with Flutter.

Status. In development: the API has all of this built and the app already shows the summary with real data; the other tabs are still under way.
